What is Reiki? 

Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) is an energy healing technique rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in 1900s Japan. The term “Reiki” originates from the Japanese words “rei”, which means universal, and “ki” which references energy.

A typical session involves practitioners placing their hands on or slightly above the recipient’s body to improve energy flow. Reiki operates on the idea that all bodies contain an unseen energy, and when that energy is blocked, we feel discomfort or illness.

The goal of Reiki is to encourage healing and reduce stress, addressing any unseen energy blocked within your body, and in doing so, promote balance and harmony for your mind, body, and spirit. What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a form of hypnosis that can help you make positive changes to your life. A typical session would involve me putting you into a meditative state, relaxing your subconscious mind and making it more open to suggestion. 

You remain in control at all times while we work together to help you manage stress or anxiety, break bad habits, overcome mental hurdles, or even embrace personal development.

How Do I Choose a Hypnotherapist?

Choosing a hypnotherapist is a big decision, because you want to work with a person you feel you can trust. Make sure to pick a practitioner who holds all the relevant certifications and qualifications needed, read reviews and testimonials, and make sure that your chosen hypnotherapist has the experience needed to help you with your own unique needs. 

When it comes to hypnotherapy, it’s important to work with someone you resonate with, which is why I encourage all my clients to meet with me first for a free consultation, so that we can get to know each other and assess if I am the right hypnotherapist to address your needs! 

You can also listen to some of my free meditations in order to get used to my voice and my rhythm of speaking. This will help you more effectively relax into a hypnotic state during our first session.
